Basics

Let’s get ourselves some good-looking pants.

First step: If you still have some skinny jeans, I’m sorry, but it’s time to throw them away. Thanks.

When you're buying pants, you need to pay close attention to sizes. You don’t want them dragging on the floor, but you also don’t want them to look like oversized jorts. Go to the store and try on different sizes to see what fits your proportions. If you already know your size, that’s great. Keep in mind, your pants should always hang a little lower than your ankles.

Now that we’ve figured out our sizes, we can start shopping. H&M and Zara both offer basic clothes, which is exactly what we’re looking for. So, in the future, if you need essentials, go to one of these stores, especially H&M, as it is usually a bit cheaper. Look for baggy jeans in grey, black and blue, or baggy pants in black, beige, and brown tones.

If you don’t find anything at Zara or H&M, you can check out Pull&Bear. They have a wide variety of streetwear-inspired baggy jeans with a laid-back look, as well as loose-fitting formal pants at good prices. For cargo pants in particular, Bershka is the way to go.
